Several weeks ago, I took the pigs out to their outoor cage. They were running along and everything seemed fine. But when I came back later in the day, one of my pigs named Stormy was very lethargic and sick. I thought she was going to die but four days later, she was ok. The only different thing was that her front legs didn't work right. I would like to know what caused the accident so if you have any ideas please tell! My only thought is that she might have eaten an oleander leaf. Oleander leaves are poisonous and I have a bunch in my yard. So that might be the cause. But if you have any other ideas, I would like to know.

It's difficult to say, it could have been something she had eaten, did she have an upset stomach too? Did she jump off anything and land funny? She could have hurt her leg and so was uncomfortable for a few days. If this happens again it is best to get anti-inflammatories from the vets.

If possible I recommend getting her checked by the vet now, just to make sure. I know she seems better but they do hide illness very well.

I sounds like it may have been something she ate. What were her poops like? Did she seem to be in pain? Are her front legs OK now? I would definitely make sure the pigs can't get to any oleander in future.

Hi, would you consider something bit her, maybe ants? I would get get checked over by a vet. Thanks
