Unpleasant Habit

Recently separated Boar 4 weeks old in cage on his own along side mum, sis and aunt.

Problem, sits in his pellet bowl to wee and poo, turns pellets to mush and I'm not sure he is even eating them.

Anyone else had same problem ?

Hi!

Sitting in and defecating in the food bowl is not at all uncommon for youngsters. Please only feed a small amount several times a day, so it gets eaten in one go. Clean the bowl in between. Young guinea pigs need about 40g (two handfuls) of pellets in a day.
