Greetings,

I'm wondering if i can feed them unripe, green mangoes? I just gotten one unripe mango from my friend and was wondering about it.

Thanks in advance.

Guinea pigs can have mango, but like all fruit it must be given in moderation due to the high sugar content. Mango is however a good source of vitamins A and C.

Unripe, I am really not sure as I have never even tried that. I'd imagine it would not taste very pleasant unripened and be quite tough. I'd go with leaving it to ripen up and then "sharing" it with them as a whole Mango will never last before it goes bad. They should only get one or two slices of it every few days. So you'll probably need to find a willing human to eat the rest. :D
