My dad has just brought me some branches from his apple tree for the hamsters and guineas, what is the best way to give these to my pets? Should I avoid the leaves/buds/greeny coloured bits (looks like thin moss - sorry if this is vague)?

Any help would be appreciated! :)

I've only ever given them the actual branch, never the greens, so I'm not sure . They did enjoy it though! :)

Great - thank you! I've been holding off giving them but Luna (the syrian hamster) can smell the branches (they are fresh cut) and she's desperate to get at them!

Thanks again! O0

Great! I'll ask my dad to keep bringing his tree trimmings along! O0

Thanks!

Wait you can give your gp's apple tree branches?! I never knew that I have a huge apple tree. What exactly do they do with them?

Well, the pigs ignore them ::)

But the hamsters love them - Luna is furiously stripping the bark off her branch.

I gave Cobweb his piece and he just gave me this disdainful look...

Pigpig ran away from his. But he is normally a gnawer, so he'll get round to it eventually! :)

mine love apple leaves and branches ;) I am always going next door for some he knows to grab me some when he is getting some for his own piggies ;D
