I know it's late but need advice. Something is wrong with my fur baby woke up to banging in living room. Went to check on kiddies (nieces) sleeping in living room as they normally would - turns out it was actually my albino guinea Pig. He was acting completely off and almost possessed. Shooting around cage at full speed and then slamming himself at the cage walls he eventually ran up the side of the cage and then fell on his back when he reached the roof-- think it might be the thunder we've had I'm not sure ☹️ I gave him a cuddle (for 35 mins) but he didn't want to leave me when I tried to pop him back in cage -- covered cage with towels and seems quiet at the moment. Is he ok? Any one had a Guinea that's done this before?

It sounds like he was scared. I know that my littlest one Steve used to run around like that at first and hit his head when I first went to handle him. But keep an eye on him. Good thing covering his cage as that likely calmed him down.

It sounds more like something frightened him. Hopefully he got calmed down. They can definitely panic and bolt right into things. How is he this morning?
