Hi everyone,
I don't know if any of you gave ead my other posts but 1 month ago I got three new girls, all settled in and 0 arguments if problems, but I do need some advice.....

One of them, mouse is a lunkyara.... (I think that's how you pronounce it) so her hair is all over the place and if I even touch her is like she's been shocked by electricity, she freaks out..... so anything I can do to calm her and train her to let me touch her?

She is gorgeous!

It is quite normal for them to not like being touched. Four years down the line, mine still don’t like it.

This guide may help with some tips though

Understanding Prey Animal Instincts, Guinea Pig Whispering and Cuddling Tips

As a side note, best to cut the amount of carrot you give right down - there is too much in that picture. Carrot is very high in sugar so should just be given a very small amount each and only given occasionally as a treat.

Aw she's beautiful

Most piggies don't like being stroked or touched. My eldest is 6 and he still doesn't particularly like it and much prefers to be with his friends. Following the advise in the link that Piggies&buns has added may help her feel more comfortable with being handled

Ah I know about the carrots, but that's because she's 1/4, they weren't all for her lol.

That's the thing, she doesn't even like being with her friends, she just sits of to the side on her own, barley interacts.... its just.... weird. Never seen anything like it. Its like she secludes herself?

Do they all get on ok?
Is she gaining weight?
Has she always secluded herself or is this a new behaviour?

Hi, since I got her she went from 500g to 850g, she does it to herself and yes..... if anything the baby.... (angelica) gets on everyone's nerves and steals food, but apart from that everyone get on, it's just her keeps away and not interacting, it's very weird behaviour, its almost like she has no personality?

If she isn’t losing weight and is able to eat, drink and rest without being bothered by the others and if she has always been this way, I wouldn’t worry. She may just prefer to keep herself to herself. I would just keep a close eye on her and take her to the vets if you’re concerned about her health

Hi everyone
Update: so I tried nibbling the ear and eye holding like the book suggested but nothing worked, and that's when looked at her again and how distressed she was getting and realised it when ever I tried touching her parti g between her shoulder blades.
So like any sane person, I grabbed a pair of scissors and had to hold her still while trimming her long fur, and...... it worked!!
She's so much more comfortable now and even hid under my chin where s before she was too scared to move!
So thank you for the advice everyone.

^.^
