Unwell guinea pig

Guys

If anyone can help it would be great. I rescue unwanted piggies and one is very unwell. My vet doesn’t know what’s wrong with him and has given painkillers.

He is making baby noises and padding from foot to foot on his front legs (this is not him rumble strutting) he seems in real discomfort for a bit and then it passes. He’s been holding his hind leg up as well but the vets checked this and said there are no breakages or fractures.

Any ideas what’s going on? I’m going to try catch his behaviour on video so you can see what I’m explaining.

I don’t want him to be in any discomfort xx

Best thing is to get him back to the vet. How long have you been rescuing piggies.

I agree with @Tiamolly123 - go back to the get.
Is your vet cavy savvy?

For ten years now. I’m just going to get him booked back in to the vets again. He seems to be really lethargic in comparison to how he usually behaves. Something is definitely not right with him.
