Unwell Piggy Any Ideas?

Hi all I posted a few weeks ago about my friends baby guinea pig squeezing loudly when he went for a poo she took him to a vet and they diagnosed a water infection he was given a weeks antibiotics my friend gave him the full antibiotics and he was OK then the last 24hrs he's started arching his back every time he goes for a poo he has barely eaten today and when I picked him up he just snuggled straight into my neck made no attempt to walk around he's usually very active and likes running around my friend is taking him to the vets tomorrow if she can get an emergency appointment but is there anything she can do tonight as he's just laying in his cage not moving much xx

Please ask your friend to have her piggy seen by an out-of-hours vet as an emergency ASAP.
Any apathy is very serious. He may need a scan for a blockage of some sort. This is definitely not a simple urine infection!

I hope the vet makes him better like Wiebke says this is an urgent case for the vet!

hi sorry for the late reply we took snowey to the emergency vets they think he has bladder stones hes going in today for ultrasound and possible xray they gave him an antibiotic injection and an anti inflame injection last night, ive spoken to my friend today and she sat up with him all night hes drinking this morning and seemed in less pain shes currently at the vets now with him thank you for all your advice last night x
