Sorry to hear Barry is poorly bro, How is he doing? He has a great dad and a fab vet to help him on the road to recovery. x x

He is struggling today, we've managed to get his med in him but food is a little trickier x
 
Jerry found it increasingly difficult to swallow,mushed critical care /mushed pellets together,,but he still struggled.pain relief helps and sometimes Jerry got bloat due to not eating hay,etc,i was going to simon every 4 weeks for 9 months.positive thoughts.:hug:
 
Hi Barry you little cutie. What was it like visiting the vets in Northampton? Mum says I have to go on Friday but I'm not keen on the idea. I'm 5 and a half now and have only ever met two vets (and one of those I bit because the silly hooman poked me in the bladder when I had a very painful UTI). I'm also quite liking being treated like a Queen... I get my own bowl of mush and mum keeps syringing it to me as well which means I get to watch TV.

Anyway hope you get better soon. Love Jemima x

Awe, Ello Jemima! I too am going on Friday, so we might rumble strut and wheek at each other! :)) Dad cancelled the afternoon appointment at 3:50 so we're going in the morning instead at 11:20. Pa will be grumpy as he finishes work 4 hours earlier. They are lovely people Kim and Simon, you and mummy have nowt to worry about xx

Aww that's a shame. Whee are going at 4.10, if you still had the afternoon appointment your scent might still have been on the table :))

Just thought I'd dig out this thread again for a Barry update. He had his 4th dental yesterday, the visit went very well. He has put on oodles of weight since last time, around 200 grams in two weeks! However, the journey was a nightmare, stuck in traffic on the way and stuck in the storm on the way back. Very stressful for both of us, I really though poor Barry had passed away at one point :( He's still a bit grumpy today, but at least he is having a nibble on his grass and cucumber :) Bless him :luv:

Glad his dental went well but sorry you had such a stressful journey. Ross was there yesterday too, luckily the trains weren't too bad.

I was there 3:30, just in time for the accident on the M1 and Storm Barbara! How did your vet visit go? x
 
He was there at 6.20. Was ok, saw Simon and he diagnosed a dental abscess but also found a bladder stone sticking out of her bits the size of a cashew !!

Awww of course he was brave and behaved, look at that gorgeous little innocent face.
