A little while ago I posted about some respiratory worries I had for my new piggy. I was very worried for a while and was going to take her to the vet... However, I am proud to say that she is in perfect health at the moment and I am beginning to think it was an allergy. When we first got her we used Aspen bedding but recently switched to carefresh since it is more absorbent and odorless. I think it might have been the bedding any ideas? (I will be careful not to buy it just in case...)

Also is it ok to have hay available to guinea pigs at all times? I have read this in multiple places but I wanted to double check. I know that pellets should not be available at all times but i wasn't sure. For my previous guinea pigs, I would put hay in the morning and at night. There was always at the very least small amounts around the cage. (sometimes I would add some around lunch if needed.) I was curious about what you guys think... I know that guineas are foragers and it is healthy for their teeth so currently, it is always available but I wanted more advice if possible.

Also, she is ALWAYS hungry. I wake up at 6 in the morning because she is squeaking and doing laps. I do take her out quite a bit to make sure she gets exercise and feed her properly but she is soooo hyper! ;) baby pigs are the best and I right?

It being the bedding sounds right :) and yes, pigs need hay 24/7

Mine have large piles of hay in various containers 24/7. I also pop in a fresh handful whenever there is any begging at non meal times throughout the day.
