update: minnow the rescue pig.

as some of you may know i rescued a tiny little sow from a petstore.
she was being kept in a cage all on her own with no toys or food and she was too small to reach the hay rack.
there was also rabbit poops in her cage.
i got her home and could see she wasnt in good shape so i got my cavy savvy friends to come look at her.
she had a scab on her back leg as well as a HUGE one on her back, she was mite infested.
she also had scabs around her mouth from her poor diet and a dirty pooey bum.
my friends also detetmined that she was only 3 weeks old! although i knew she was definetly younger than 8 weeks, which is what the moron of a shop keeper told me!
we treated her for mites, gave her only dry food and put blankets and a teddy in with her last night.
i checked on her this morning and she has a clean bum, has had firm poops and has devoured her food and hay. she must have been starving!
we found her this morning, cuddled up to the teddy, shes so cute!
needless to say i will be complaining to the petstore later on today!
minnow is a dark cream and grey agouti smooth coated sow, i will post pigtures asap!

Awww. Poor girl. She had a rough start. You have done a wonderful job though! Yes I would loooove to see some pigtures! drool
 
So glad she is being looked after now, looking forward to pigtures!

My tinkerbell is pretty much that size and shes 9 weeks old :) she could be the runt like my tinks? x
 
Awwww she is gorgeous! Well done for rescuing her and giving her a lovely new home. Hope she gets well soon.
 
Awww she is sweet! She looks the same age my Poppy was when my avatar pigture was taken, around 8 weeks, as her ears are unfolding now. :))
