A couple of weeks ago I posted that Toby & Barney put the guilts on Mr S and so instead of going into the garage over winter they are now coming into the living room. Instead of buying a C&C cage Mr S is constructing a master piece - looking at it so far its going to be amazing! However, Mr S is not the fastest, god love him! He was under instructions that I wanted the boys indoors by next weekend but he probably has another couple of weekends work left.

I bought a new large hutch a little while ago but hadn't managed to move the boys into it yet so it is lovely and clean inside and out, therefore it will be moved into living room tonight as a temporary measure. I have just been online and ordered some Fitch bedding - not used it before but wanted to try something other than wood shavings (and didn't really want wood shavings indoors). As soon as the fitch arrives (hopefully tomorrow) then my little men will be coming in for a world of cuddles!

I just can't wait. I have also just ordered a boat-load of stuff from the pet warehouse for their new home. For 2 little furry critters they don't half cost a lot!

They cost more then my dog :)) Bet you can't wait to have them indoors, they interact so much more with you, I daren't move for fear of them hearing me and wheeking for noms :))

I know - barney does talk to me a bit but rarely does full-on wheeking and Toby is a very quiet little man. Am dying to see what happens when they are with us all the time.

The plan is for them to go back into the garden in the spring - will just have to wait and see what happens - I may not want to part with them!

Oh how exciting, was the best thing ever moving my piggies indoors, i developed a whole other relationship with my piggies :D Cant wait to see pics when Mr S is done building their home :D

You won't! My Quinn runs up to me throughout the day to sniff me then popcorns off lol.

Hmmmm.......so the hutch that looked an average size in the garage looks flippin' HUGE when it is in your living room. People will think I am insane!

my piggies have taken over my spare room and cost more in time and money than my two dogs.Even my kids think I'm insane. They have totally taken over my life and all six go mad when they hear my voice - full on wheeking. I spend hours on this forum and on preloved, freeeads and petsforhomes redirecting people to the forum that are advertising free to good home piggies. There is even hay all over the house and at the front door where I tip the litter trays into the greeen bin.HELP, I'M ADDICTED!

I love it hehe my one guinea pig soon too be three fingers crossed has the spare room to himself also, I have constructed a home out of a wardrobe looking for christmas presents for him so I guess I'm abit insane too x

So they are now in the house, in a new hutch. Obviously there is an awful lot of rumbling going on and I think they are having the odd mini-scrap (they are in the bedroom so I cant see). They had a ramp in their last hutch that they had no problem with, I did have to carpet it because they were only 8 weeks old and were too tiny to use it.

I first put them in the bottom of the hutch and they seemed to be having good times but did not go up the ramp. I have just moved them upstairs so they could see what was going on (also food and water is up there). I am going to bed this afternoon as I start a set of nights tonight but I think that if they haven't managed to get downstairs by the time I wake up I will have to carpet the ramp again before I go to work. I do hope they can use the ramp without carpet though.

Its so lovely to have them in here now though.
