Update on bonding

Hi everyone,
I just want to say thanks to all the helpful comments and the bonding is going great(as you can see on the updated profile pic) they have a lovely new (massive) crate with hides, a loft, a comfy liner and bedding, hay and a new best friend 😁 I’m so happy that there ok now ( since I have anxiety it has been hard to get over it and move on 😕) but I’m home from holiday now and am ready for more looking after piggies (especially in this upcoming heat) stay safe! Xx

Glad to hear the bonding is going well and Poppins has a new friend. And that you are feeling better too
 
Hi all!
The new crate hasn’t worked out since it’s very flimsy, too big, and absolutely stinks so we are ordering a slightly smaller one for the utility room! Thought I would just keep you updated… Ginny has gained confidence and is doing very well with growing etc and poppins the same yet still a bit dominant when in small spaces yet I found them sleeping next to each other in the same hidey hole…🤣
P.s. it’s getting chilly out soon with a bit of bad weather so be prepared to bring piggies in very soon if outside! Xx
 
It’s best if you keep related posts to the same single thread so all the background and story is in one place. We always like to have update posts on a situation, but with this being a brand new post we don’t have any of the background to your situation here at present for the update to be meaningful.
You can find your previous posts by pressing ‘find my threads’ on the top banner.

If you are moving your piggies indoors then make sure any new crate/cage meets size requirements for the amount of piggies you have on a single level.
I'm not sure if you mean the crate itself smells, but do bear in mind that if a cage isn’t big enough then that can cause bedding to smell more quickly
