Junior Guinea Pig
As some of you guys know my boys were doing fine when i first put them together but a few weeks ago they just became crazy lol and started fighting non stop until i found blood in the cage and had to separate them, they have been separate for a few weeks now and i tried to introduce them again in their cage 2x4 (big mistake) i learned researching online that is better to introduce them in an area that is strange for both of them. Last night i had them in bathroom running free for about 1 and a half. lots of veggies two plats of food, water battle etc... they were fine until... the veggies ran out then Elvis started going at Lucas chasing him all around. As much a my wife and i wanted to separate them we had to let them be.
Eventually they stopped fighting and Elvis became the dominant one which i thought it would be Lucas. they eventually fell asleep in the bathroom and stopped fighting. We put them back to their separate cages and put the cages next to each other they can touch their noses but they cant fight.
We will try to put them together again in the bathroom tomorrow and see how it goes this time. I'm hoping they start to get along well again. All the fighting started when we brought a sow to the house and i guess they could smell her from her cage.
