So, the boys made it through the night with no problems. Came down early to check this morning and clearly the household of the Summerhouse were well and truly awake! 
I was hoping to get my first cup of tea under my belt before removing the cage covers, but oh no, what I thought was Jack bouncing around the cage, wasn't. Well he was popcorning a bit if you can call jumping of the roof of his wooden stick house and racing up the ramp...nope H and Ed were firmly out of their house and darting around their cage. fresh food was gone, the best hay was also gone and the majority of their water bottle drank so so they appear to be happy enough. pictures later as I have a really busy day ahead.
[Washing, ironing ,strip bed, decorate mums xmas cake, rake and remove leaves, travel to cov (1hr away) say hello,do some chores over there, get back and edit friends thesis for final submission and do my own prep work for a seriously busy week at the office, oh have a nice long soak in the bath and dye my hair, feed the furry gang, oh and eat somewhere in between]...no wonder I'm always exhausted!
