We had to go to the vet yesterday because he had a grape sized cyst where he was neutered, they lanced it and gave him antibiotics for 10 days. He’s doing great didn’t even cry when they were doing it. I think I cried more than he did lol

She said she cleaned it out good he’s on it for ten says with warm butt washes twice a day he’s such a good boy taking him medicine an they said he looks great so that’s a plus

Please constact your vet asap if you notice the swelling coming back. Abscesses need to heal from the inside out. Even the tiniest speck of infection left in one of the pouches will unfortunately start it to come back in full force.

That is why we usually recommend to stitch the opening wide and to flush it with a mild disinfectant twice daily.

But I am glad that he come well through his procedure.
