I have just got back from the vets with all 3 of my guinea pigs.
Ellen was diagnosed with a uti last Friday, she still has a trace of blood in her urine so is to stay on septrin for another two weeks. Thankfully her bladder is nice and soft and she didn't show signs of discomfort when her bladder was palpitated.
Emma has IC so her 6 months checkup was due. Thankfully apart from the usual trace of blood in her urine, she is currently comfortable.
Edward doesn't want to miss out so developed a watery eye over the weekend. He has conjunctivitis so he is on Chloromycetin eye drops 6 times a day! He ripped his entire toenail out on Thursday so I had his toe check over too. Thankfully, it's healing nicely.
Please keep those vibes coming that they're all back to normal soon.
All 3 piggies also had their nails trimmed.
Both Ellen and Edward are due back at the vets on the 30th September to see how they're getting on. They certainly know how to keep me on my toes...
