Update on my piggies

Hi, so just an update. My girls went to the vet today for a checkup and for their nails to be trimmed, they were very good for the exotic vet. The vet said they are very healthy and doing just fine. The only thing we gotta work on is handling them more as they are quote skittish. Heres a photo of my babies and their hideout

As prey animals being skittish is entirely normal, most piggies don’t like being handled. They are also going to be much more scared of being handled and prodded by the vet than they would be of you.

None of mine like being handled but are quite happy to be stroked in the cage.
It’s taken nearly a year for Micah to allow any petting at all - I am permitted to stroke his right ear but that’s it.
