I read your post last night, she is a lovely little piggy and has probably never had so much love lavished on her :) Have you got a name yet for her ?
It looks like a cataract tbh but that's only my first thought.

My little sister names her Lottie:) x

and yhh I thought it was catarats

Aww, she is just too cute and looks like a smooth haired version of my Ena :) May be she has a cataract but I'm not sure x

If it is a cataract, is there any treatment, or can they manage fine with it, it dosn't cause them pain does it? x

I don't think there is much that can be done treatment wise but the piggy can learn to adapt :) I doubt it causes pain x

Aww bless her, I used to have a totally blind piggy when I was younger, and then on her mate, we put a like cat colous wih a bell so the blind guinea could find her mate, via the noise of the bell, she lived for ages with no problem so I'm guessing who one eyed vision she should be fine! she dosn't appear to be in pain! x

Sherbet, my old piggie had cataracts in both eyes the vet said they didn't hurt and yes her eye-sight would be impaired a bit like us looking through a net curtain, surgery wasn't an option. Sherbet developed serious eye problems as well as the cataracts from an early age and she adapted very well to it. Just dont move things around her cage or when she has floor time so she can 'learn' where things are and remember where to find things especially food bowl and water bottle. Shes a stunning piggy. x)

Aww bless! looks like Lottie is staying with us then ha :) not that my little sis would let her go anywhere! she spent all afternoon when she got back from school, outside sat next to lotties hutch talking to her ha! x

What a cute little piggy! x)

Her cataract won't hurt her. There isn't anything to do about it though, she'll adapt. My piggy, Woog, has a huge cataract in one eye, and is blind in that eye. But, it doesn't bother her, she adapted :)

Looks like your little sister made a friend for life.... lucky her! x)

Aww she is devine! Well done you.:)
My Bridge piggie Gypsy had cataracts in both eyes from a young age and she coped really well... also had Rosie who had an eye removed and Lucy has just had an eye removed too... I find they adapt really well and now she has people to lavish love on her, she will thrive!:(|)
