Well the introduction went well this morning and now currently they are sorting out their rankings. They seem to get along in the cage and currently Bugs is sitting with my fiance and Oreo watching tv. However when I rescued her I was told she could have been with a male but they were unsure. This new one was left on the doorstep of a vet clinic in a cardboard box.
I think by keeping you guys informed on how Bugs and Oreo are getting along I am going to give you daily updates on this thread.
The first night went very well. Both are an attached pair almost like sisters already. But to encourage better bonding, I have placed both in a laundry basket with a blanket they both have scents on as padding (one I used with the introduction). They do get into a scrap on whos going to be sleeping where in the hut and every so often Oreo will tell Bugs not to do this and Bugs will protest. Bugs has taken a liking to both me and my fiance however Oreo is still very much mum's girl as seen this morning when I picked Oreo up I got a cheek full of kisses from her. Sam is quite content to sit with Bugs and me with Oreo
Bugs has no idea what a water bottle is so I had to buy her a water dish as well as a second food dish as Oreo won't share much and will get mad. I promise there will be pigtures of Bugs in due time. My mom has my camera and therefore right now there is no pigtures. Bugs is black and white short haired with a little tan under her chin and behind one ear. However she is still a little malnourished and I think Oreo saw it and wants her to eat more, I saw this this morning when Oreo was pushing Bugs to the food dish.
