Today I've swapped the shed over from fleece to Aubiose. I tried to get a photo but the shed was too dark as I've not long finished sorting it. The girls are loving it! I've filled most hideys with hay along with their wooden log bridge. I think they'll be lovely and cosy tonight. I love the fact Aubiose doesn't stick to everything as easily as shavings does and it has a really nice smell to it. (Or maybe thats me being weird?)

All the girls are well and I'll get a shed photo tomorrow. I think I'll try my hamster Nova, on aubiose too. Her new bigger cage is due to arrive this week.

Here she is, all grown up now! In her very first sand bath. :)

Cool beans :) I am tempted to give Auboise a try next year, where did you get it from?

Nova is  look at her tiny hands!

I like the look of it so far and the girls seem to like it. With six pigs the fleece was just becoming too time consuming now I'm working longer hours.

I got it from a website called Omlet. It's a huge 20kg bag and arrived within two days :)

Hehe I know! She's so cute.

Oh my word. She has the cutest face and paws. Like a mini cuddly teddy bear. I think I'm getting hamster broody again

I have been using snowflake for the last month and whilst it is nice for the piggies to sit on, I find it smells a lot more than Aubiose, so I am going back to Aubiose with the next bag. I also find that I don't need to put as much Aubiose in the cage as Snowflake, so it lasts much longer.

great cage. I love aubiose. Used it for my hamsters and gerbils and of course now use it for rats and piggies. Really miss my hamsters and gerbils. Feels weird only having nine animals in the house

She's gorgeous. Did she try to eat her sand? we put sand baths in with our syrians this week and they both tried to eat it, dopey hamsters.

The first thing she did was bury her face in it and then quickly realised it was a bad idea! She's enjoying it now, although she's mainly using it as a toilet area but it's good as it's easier to clean.

I just need to get her some more things to fill the cage.

Keep forgetting to take a photo of the shed! :(

Although I've managed to fill Nova's cage a bit more tonight.
