Update on the Sponsor Pigs!

As promised, here is an update of the Sponsor pigs currently residing here and at TeresaJ's!

First off, Zippy:

It's been a hectic few months in the Zippy cage, as he was acting as Uncle Piggy to two hand reared baby boars last summer (Napolean and Nelson) and then to young Kyle;

Tired after all that baby sitting:

Christmas was full of surprises from his Secret Santa:

Which he shared nicely with Fonze:

In his Cosie from threelittlepigs (Pollie);

Settling in with his new friend The Fonze (who has also joined our Sponsor scheme):

Kiki, sweet girly, lives in a big group of sows with neutered boar Fatty Paddy.

And here is the lovely Cherelle, who is with TeresaJ. You may remember she was in an awful state with bad hair loss:

Well her she is now - her lovely hair had all grown back, but unfortunately some of the other pigs decided to chew some off rolleyes

Just a written update on the guys here I am afraid until I get time to take some photos....

Fanny and Splodge
These girls are doing really well Fanny although still on septrin to help manage her problems is a happy cuddly lady who is so patient with all the fluid feeds she has to help with her sludge problem. Cranberry and barley water are not her favourite things but generally she only dribbles a little down my jumper in disgust lol. Both are indoors with uis so very vocal at any fridge door movement, cucumber a definate favourite at the moment

Pinball and Wizard
Pinball as ever is the friendliest piggy always up to the front for a chin rub as soon as you walk near his hutch his balance still makes clipping his claws interesting as he prefers to be held with his head facing down towards the floor and he keeps asking me when he can go out on the grass as grazing is definately his favourite and his best! Wizard seems to be learning from his hutch mates friendliness and is improving in handling although he also still insists on being held with his head facing the floor the same way as pinball rolleyes Oh Boys!

Poppy and Daisy
These girls have had a slight change in living arrangements. They were in a herd with Charlie B and Rosie but Rosie decided she would like to have her husband to herself (bit of the green eyed monster) so Poppy and Daisy are now living it up in a while level of the punchard themselves and lots of toys and tunnels. They are keeping weight on well and are very happy and healthy at the moment. Again they are anxious to get out on the grass again.

We all can't wait for the g-r-a-s-s (I can't mention it in this house without causing major demos) to grow again!

I am looking forward to seeing pictures of Poppy and Daisy and am glad that both are healthy right now!
