Yahoooooooooooo Pops!
Go girl, what a little star you are darling...keep going. It is like weight watchers but the other way round! :laluot_31::laluot_31::laluot_31:

When she couldn't eat anything on her own she would yell loudly in the middle of the night when she wanted feeding. That stopped when she could manage softened food. A couple of nights ago I was woken by Miss Pops shouting very loudly. I went downstairs and she was standing at the bars of her cage. She had run out of fresh food and needed more. It didn't matter that her dry food bowl was almost full! I went and got her some cucumber and she ate that straight away and was back at the bars shouting again. In the end at 3 am I was outside in the garden picking grass for her! At last she was happy and I got some sleep! :))

I'm just the proudest mummy (yeah i'm her second mum LOL) ever, well done my little darling Pops Possum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO POPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Well at the moment its two steps forward and one back. Pops is eating non stop, but also shaking her head and then holding it to one side. We've been to the vets this morning and she has a growth in her ear that is blocking the ear canal. They managed to remove quite a lot of it today and we are hoping that it won't grow back. We are reviewing things on Monday morning. Pops isn't bothered about any of this and is continuing to eat really well. Thank goodness she has so much attitude!

Oh, Pops, you really don't believe in doing things by the book... The curse "May your life be interesting!" might have been specially invented for you and your mummy!

I'm so glad that you're still suffing yourself - at least you've got your priorities right!

Even though she has got another problem, it's truly fantastic that she is still eating.

She's been eating non stop since we got back from vets and has just stopped so she can go for a run around the room and to wind up poor Patch. She loves looking into his cage and getting him all excited and then running off!

I don't think she has been shaking her head quite as much since we got back either, so hopefully it will settle down now.

Fingers crossed for your special lady!

Uncle Simon has kept Pops in today so he can operate to remove the growth from inside her ear canal. While it's there her ear isn't draining properly and becoming quite a mess and is in danger of becoming infected.

I know she is in the best possible hands, but that isn't stopping me worrying myself to death. Will keep you all updated.

Simon just phoned. Quite a large polyp has been removed from her ear canal, but the good news is that beyond it the ear was fine. She's come round and doing fine! I can pick her up at 6! I can't wait to see her, and Skye who has gone in with her.

Such a relief - all the best to Pops and paw-holding Skye!

PS: Don't lose your appetite now - hear me, Pops!

Great news, at least the problem is sorted and she can get back on track with her recovery!
