Hello all,

I posted last week with a pic of my boys scabby patch on his tummy. The vet wasn't sure if fungal or even a growth underneath, but I have been treating with Kwench lotion from Gorgeous Guineas and it appears to be clearing up. The scabs are mostly gone (combination of lotion and some scratching I'm sure). I've posted and before and after.

I'm thinking it must be fungal? Doesn't look like ringworm as I'd thought at first and vet didn't think so. I wonder even if he got into a scrap with his pal and it was a wound but seems a bit big for that. There's a tiny scab above on his tummy that's also clearing up. He's been ever so good letting my put the lotion on bless him.

It seems like it's clearing up nicely so will continue with the Kwench. I wondered if any of you had seen this before and had any thoughts? Thanks!

Thank you. You should be able to see them now. I was using the pic insert icon and realised that I should just paste the link straight on! Any thoughts much appreciated :-)

It looks pretty similar to what Nerys had last summer. I treated for fungal (after seeing a vet) and it cleared up well. He gave me a mild steroid cream for the sores.

Hopet hat yours will go down well again, too!

Thanks both! It does appear to be getting better so hopefully the hair will grow back :-)
