We had a small celebratory party yesterday as we (I would like to say "I" because I'm the one who blogs, but Bo says that without them there would be no blog so...) won a blog competition "our" rescue organised :)

Yummy salad

Yummy salad afer 90 seconds. They are eating so fast they are all blurred! (and maybe because I don't like to use a flash...)

Everything is going just splendid with our new family member Freja. She fits in so well and is the first to seem to enjoy spending time with piggy friends. Sure, the others interact, but she likes to rest close to a furry friend. So sweet.

She's also tame and cuddly. I love her so much! I hope this lady is one of those pigs who will live until she is nine!

More exciting news is that I have finally seen Chicken (my cream and white snake feed rescue) resting with her legs out on a vetbed platform by the heater. She zoomed into a tunnel when I crashed into the room (I had no IDEA!) but still, it happened, I saw it! I'm giving her a new name as soon as I can come up with a good one :)

This last picture is just one I could not resist taking when my veggie box arrived yesterday... :))

Scrooge McPiggy - AKA Bo :)

AWWWW that last photo is just the cutest thing ever. Bo is so sweet.

I love your guineas and your set up - they have such a nice life!

How did you take a picture with the piggy just tucking in? They are great pictures and congrats on winning a prize! :))

AWWWWW - that last pic! x)x)x)

I so love your tribe; Freja fits right in! It's so good to see older piggies finding a happy home as well; they bring something different to the group.

Those tunnel tubes are a really great idea. They must be a real hit!

Congratulations for winning a prize and thanks for sharing those lovely pictures with us!

Fantastic pics, adore the last one, woo hoo for chicken:(|) and congrats for winning.

Congratulations for winning the competiton! xx>>>

The last photo is adorable! So pleased to hear that Freja is settling well and that Chicken is relaxing (I like her name by the way ;) )

Many congratulations on your win too!

I just shoved him in! He didn't mind but seemed a little confused so I just snapped one picture and put him back!

The name will be up for grabs soon! Suits any silly-shy piggy :)

How could you ever say you got Bo because he wasn't as cute... he is the cutest piggie ever infact I am considering pignapping him :)) xx

Great Photos and looks like a nice party.

I never get invited to parties and............I guess this isn't the place:))

Seriously, those are some of the best photos I have seen....they look surreal. Whenever a photo looks more real than reality it is a GOOD photo!

I think hes cute NOW :)! But at the rescue I didn't think so, I got him because I got those that had been there the longest... Turned out a good decision!

Wow ") blushing :) Thank you! It's just a compact Canon Ixus. The one of Bo in the veggie box is with daylight so it's sharper than the other two that were taken at night. I don't like to use a flash but am often too lazy to bring out the tripod so pictures tend to get a little blurry sometimes...

I think it has nothing to do with your photo skills it is just Bo he's just so cute and photogenic :)).

I'm a mean a biatch hehe... I'm just kidding ")

I think they are good pictures... I just blind my piggies with the flash "), but my camera broke so my piggies haven't been flashed recently. I think they are thankful! xx

Yes... I'm thinking about connecting it to one of her more "positive" traits (more positive than insane shyness...) and she is part greyhound ( I think) and very fast so I'm thinking about names of fast women, sport, animal, movie or the like.

You should try without flash sometimes when you fix your camera! And I agree, it's the subject not the photographer that matters :) Though sometimes it's about catching the right moment, like with your avatar!

That was sheer luck and I shall try without the flash but I shake loads and it goes all blurry so I do think there is a nac which clearly passed me by :(! I think you stole my nac lmao! :)) hehe xx

Speedy?! how original am I lol!

Well, "luck" is a big element in photography!

Speedy? Yes, I'll admit I have thought about it but it seems a tad - unimaginative? We called her Vesslan (Swedish for weasel) when I first got her, but weasels aren't associated with the nicest traits, really. I don't want her to feel embaressed about her (new) name :))
