Junior Guinea Pig
Hi all! I have a very beloved piggie called Sid who we rescued about 7 months ago! He was born without lower incisors and the time between trimming his upper teeth is getting shorter and shorter! We used to take him to the vets every 6-8 weeks and now we're lucky if it is 2-3 weeks before he has to go back! He's such a well mannered boy and doesn't mind at all, but we've been advised it may be better to have his upper incisors removed completely under anaesthetic...? Does anyone have any experience of this at all? Should we consider this?
When his teeth begin to get longer we also tend to notice his nose gets a little snotty! So it may benefit his overall happiness!
Thanks in advance!
