So I had to take my three little pigs to the vet today for an emergency visit. I had changed their bedding to cedar shavings thinking it would help cut costs down on changing their home as much as I do but I ended up giving one of my girls a upper respiratory infection. We took them to get checked out because they were having difficulty breathing and we were worried. Millie (my oldest) ended up getting sick and is now on an antibiotic. I was also advised to give all three piggies critical care supplements until Millie is feeling better. I have since changed their home, washed all hiddies, and their water bottles to make sure my other two girls do not get sick. The hardest part is allowing Millie to rest because my other two want to play. Any tips on how I can help Millie recover and how long a respiratory infection can last in piggies? This is all new to me and I'm worried sick about my babies.

My cliffy boy had a respiratory infection a while back. The meds will do there job. It took about a week for him to heal fully. Just make sure your pig is eating and drinking fine.
