My guinea pig is acting really weird. It suppose she is going through fits and behaving completely weird. She was not eating normal from past 1 week and then one day statrted having loose motions. I immediately took her to the vet. He recommended falgyl and told me that she is suffering from diarrhoea. I continued giving her flagyl for 1.5days and then suddenly today afternoon I saw her comforter full of blood and liquid blackish poo. I got routine fecal checkup done and later in the eveing got to know thst her fecal sample is positive for capillaria sppegg. Vet gave her "albendazole oral suspension" and an injection as she was not eating anything from past 2 days. Now she is lying by my side and I see her continuously having fits. She is not at all responding now (no matter what I do to her) She has left her body loose. Is there anything that can be done? I am really scared whether she will be able to see the sunrise today. How can I comfort her?what to do? How can I save her. Please help! Please reply me ! I cant see her struggle this way

Please see a vet as an emergency ASAP!
Google whether you have got a 24 hours service in town or follow the tips in this guide here: How to contact a vet out of hours

It may be impossible to save her, but you can at least spare her any suffering. I am very sorry; it is always very distressing to see a beloved pet suffering.

Please always step in with syringe feeding as soon as a guinea pig goes off its food.

Wiebke advice is absolutely right, emergency vet is required, don't hang around on the forum, pick up the phone and get there.

I know it's really hard watching your piggy being so ill, but you can help your piggy.
xx

Please take your piggy to see a vet ASAP. If she can't be saved please spare her any further suffering.
