I'm about to introduce a new "preloved" girl to my couple. My Dizzy has had one failed attempt with her previous owner (weight loss), so I want to get this right!
Would it be better to separate Llewelyn and Dizzy beforehand, and then introduce the girl to only Dizzy first (who is a very good bonder, but very jealous of her long coveted "top spot"), to settle and sort out the female hierarchy, before we head for the testosterone fun & games with my neutered boar?
Or would it be better to give them all a bath and a clean cage, and start from there?
So far, I've always only had to bond a berieved and lonely guinea pig, and would be grateful for tips - even if it can't be a new topic at all!
