Hello I am away on holiday and the person who looks after my guinea pigs says ones unwell. She's whining and lying flat down. Please help as she will be going to a vet but any suggestions?
 
whining can sometimes mean something is bothering the cavy so maybe she's in pain. I think all you can do is take her to the vet and help her eat if she isn't eating. But I'm not an expert or any thing, best of luck to you.
 
Without more information, it is really hard to advise, so getting the piggy to a knowledgable vet is a matter of urgency. Whining may mean pain and it could be bloat, so speed is essential. Hope she's OK.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It never gets any easier, but being away certainly makes it harder.
