URI advice needed (again)

So Odin was on baytril for a uri and his breathing sounded better. I continued to the end of the 14 days and now, a couple of days later he sounds snuffly again. I still have some baytril left, should I start giving him it again until his vet appointment or should I wait for vet advice?

When is your appointment? If it is tomorrow, then leave it; otherwise call your vet clinic to ask your treating vet whether they recommend you using the baytril or not.

The vet I saw before didn't know anything about guinea pigs, so I don't want to go back to her. I found a vet from the recommended list, but I can't get an appointment til monday.
Odin is totally fine in himself, if he seems to be eating less or less active than usual I'll take him to see someone sooner, but I'd rather wait for expert advice as long as he seems OK.

Monday is quite a long time so I would re-start again, but try to the get the new clinic's approval.
