What ended up being wrong with your pig? I've tried several brands of hay, at the moment they have Timothy hay - it seems the least dusty one we've tried.
The X-ray showed that her lungs were very cloudy and her chest was twisted. She was given septrin and loxicom which helped and we also bought a nebuliser for her and this was good for when her breathing was bad. I think she had an underlying heart condition. We took her to the vets a few weeks ago for an X-ray of her heart, but she sadly passed away due to the stress. They were going to sedate her as she wouldn't keep still for the X-ray and she got very stressed when they try to inject her. I have since found out that they should have tried to sedate her with a bit of gas, which I am very upset about. Is your pigs' hutch away from any doors which could cause a draft?

Yes they should've definitely used gas, what a shame :( so sorry for your loss, it's always awful :(
It use to be away from draft - the cage is in my room. But in August, we got a vent installed in my bedroom which does cause a draft and can make the room chilly too. Do you think that is the issues or could have potentially caused a problem?

Yes that might have caused the problem. Are you able to move the hutch into a different room? if not, you could cover part of the hutch with a blanket, to try and keep the draft out.

No this is the only place, we were talking about reblocking up the vent. We may be able to temporarily move the cage and see if it helps. Do you think the problem will stop in a matter of days or do you think it'll take time? Our cage is a 2x4, 2x1 of the cage is always covered with a blanket, 2x3 of it is covered at night time

The draft might have caused pneumonia, if it isn't a URI so it will still need to be treated. If you are having trouble paying vet fees, it's worth talking to the vets first, as they could set up a payment plan. We often don't pay the vets until after a few weeks after treatment.

Just a thought but if you keep your piggies in your bedroom, are you using deodorant or perfume/room sprays at all? Piggies are very sensitive to anything like that & you would need to make sure no chemicals are used in the same room as them :)

Thank you for all your help, we have an appointment booked with the specialist on Friday.

No I don't use any sprays, I don't really like smells as they give me headaches so my room is totally fragrance free.
