My two piggies are about 11-12 weeks now, and I have noticed a clicking noise when they breath sometimes.

I took them to the vets, who listened to their breathing and said all sounded fine. She prescribed some antibiotics just in case for 7 days, which I gave them.
They still make the clicking noise a bit now. They are eating/drinking/weeing/pooing like normal and they chatter and run about as they always have as well.

Does it sound like I am being paronoid? Or perhaps does this sound like something else?

I’ve heard one of them sneeze literally twice since I got them and they don’t seem to be struggling to breath in any way.

one of my old gerbils had clickey breathing. And i thought nothing of it. She died from fluid on the lungs about a few weeks later. It was pneumonia. Gerbils and guinea pigs hide their illness very well. How long have you been giving the antibiotic?

I gave it for 7 days as the vet said. She said their breathing sounded fine 😕

Is it really obviouse clicking like every breath? Or does it go away and come back. Sometimes one of my gpigs sounds like that . But shes fine

Sounds like it could be fine. Go back to vets if you notice a loss in appetite, any abdominal breathing, crusty eyes or nose.

As Skypipdot has said, keep an eye out for any change in behaviour, lack of appetite etc. How are they now? They can get clicky noses if they get dust up it but if you notice any laboured breathing, runny eyes, lethargy, get them straight back to the vets.

They seem fine in general. They are definitely not lethargic, they run around and play.
I can’t hear it if I stand near the cage and listen, it’s only when I get them out 🤨
Their eyes are bright and open and no runny noses, plus they are stuffing their faces as normal 😂

That all sounds good. I would monitor for now then and get them back to the vets if anything changes.
