Kim is gonna take him to her house as she's very worried how weak and flat he is.She also said he's in pain with his kidneys which could be stones or an infection.I was given the option of PTS but she said it's my choice if I want to try a different antibiotic than baytril.She was annoyed vets 4 pets prescribed me that along with cat strength metacam.Ive had to sign a form for permission to PTS if he doesn't improve.She said she will be honest with me that it's s very slim chance he'll improve.I was crying in the vets and I'm trying not to cry sitting on the bus now.

Oh honey I'm so sorry. When will you get an update? Be kind to yourself, you're only human. We howled the vets down with Harry. I'm thinking of you and Georgie. Why was she annoyed about the baytril and metacam? Not strong enough? X

Thanks, I think probably tomorrow I'll get an update.Yes baytril is not a very good antibiotic for a Uri and she said the cat metacam isn't strong enough to really do anything x
 
Oh my. He does sound poorly. But he’s got the best chance now with Kim. Stay strong - the waiting is so hard xx

Thank you, I'm really fearing the worst, been crying most of the day.I don't know what to do with his cage mate guiseppe.I'v I'lle had him on my bed since we got back from the vets.I don't want to put him in his cage as he pines for Georgie even if I've just gotten him out for a cuddle xx
 
When i used baytril for a couple of uri's it worked, but i guess it depends on the bacteria. What has kim used now?

I suppose it doesnt really matter, aslong as kim knows. Least of your worries. Keep hope👍 i have had a pig with pneumonia that really was on deaths door and came back to full health. My thoughts are with you all

I've just had 2 missed calls, one from a Northampton number(maybe the vets) and a private number about 10 mins later.I'm really thinking the worst now.

Sorry just seen, my Rupert doing badly this eve. My two are the same, really close and hate being parted.
Hopefully it’s good news with the phone calls and just letting you know how he is xx

One was private bit the other one, I don't know if it was the practice or their home phone.I'm too scared to ring back to be honest xx

How bizarre! I take that to mean it's not a company. Surely they'd have tried again if it was of concern. Are you going to be able to sleep tonight if you don't call back though? It may just be to tell you he's comfortable and they'll speak to you tomorrow x

I think I will sleep, I had about 4 hours last night and feel shattered now.I'm hoping they'll call in the morning x
