Another question before my piggies goes to the vet tomorrow, how do I know if a piggy has uri, I know the crusty eyes and nose but anything else, I know that uri can work fast but my piggy is eating and drinking she’s already got a vet appointment for Monday which is tomorrow but I don’t want things to worsen if she’s got it! She seems to be pretty active besides her just being lazy. Any advice would be great!

Hi!

You can find a list of symptoms in this link here: New piggy problems: URI - ringworm - skin parasites

Please be aware that your vet may find that your piggy has got something else. Loss of appetite and crusty eyes and noses are actually the symptoms of a fully developed severe URI.

All the best!
