This uri I can get so far rid of them comes back she’s now quiet a crackle in her nose chamber vets think now it could be a birth defeat still on baytrill the ventilator made her worst bisolvon kind works vet suggested a exotic pets any ideas live in harlow Essex I have a happy healthy pig who runs jumps chirps skips not willing to give up on her so any advise would be great

How long has this been going on?

I have the same problem with my two piggies i have changed the hay, bedding and everything to quality stuff. They have been on baytril for 2 months, they are off now and still making a little crackly noise whilst eating. They eat perfectly fine they are both maintaining their weight even gaining weight, they mess around as per and I'm just lost at what to do because every time i take them to the vets they wont give anything else apart from baytril which obviously isnt doing anything for them otherwise they would have got better by now.

Since I got her so possibly 2 months but she had it in pets home she’s been off baytrill 2 weeks her nose is snotty again weezy the vets says allergies possibly so I’m back with Callie on a cloth above her pig loo vicks steaming her and myself under a towel which actually really helps the ventilator made her worst so did the bisolvon she’s eating putting on weight just be little quiet last 24 hours so I’m taking her back to vets tomorrow don’t want her on baytril again as it’s pointless it’s holds it off but doesn’t get rid of it .. by the way she lives with 3 other pigs who have no caught a thing of her xx
