i cleaned the hutch today i notest milly was wet on her ann fur stained her wee was light coloued orange other piggy ok she eating ok any ideas never seen it before

Sometimes when a piggy is wet it can mean they have a urine infection. Is she squeaking while she wees?

I use teabag bedding I don't see any will have close look any piggy in with her not sure as she is in my bed room my dad watches tv in there so will get him to check

If you are concerned then a vet check up is a good idea as a guinea pig should not feel wet. Good luck.

If in doubt, please have her checked by a vet; he can check the urine for signs of blood, high protein and crystals, which can all indicate a urine infection. If you are lucky, the urine is just discoloured from some food.

give her carrots for weeks and never seen anythink like that

Yes just carrots or lots of carrots is not the best, neither are lots of pellets in the diet. I've heard that bell peppers and cucumber are good veggies to feed. Each pig will have different needs though.

What bedding do you use out of interest? We were using sawdust originally but found it was extremely poor at keeping our boy dry. We switched to Carefresh (available at Pets at Home for £6) and have not looked back since - it is SO much more absorbant and keeps things bone dry and fresh. Obviously its important to do a complete cage clean and put fresh bedding down once a week at the very least as well.

All the best xx
