Hi. My vet asked me to take a urine sample along on my visit tomorrow but it didnt occur to me i have no idea how to get one. Any ideas :S

I had an unused kitty litter tray and sat with Flash in it for a while. Then used a syringe to get the sample.

A decent size plastic container. Depending how big your piggy is. Big margarine tub? Litter Tray etc. then into container. Hope all is ok. xx

i always give the piggie 10/15ml of water via syringe and maybe a couple of slices of cucumber, then sit in a cat litter tray or old washing up bowl (clean of course) then just sit and wait :) then collect the urine in a syringe and transfer to a clean container/bottle or you can keep it in the syringe. Hope your piggie is ok :)

Been doing a lot of wee catching myself last few weeks. Sick of UTI's now!

What i always do is:
Get a syringe and a water specimen bottle available at chemists.
Feed piggle lots of wet celery leaves and watermelon, put them in empty plastic cage base, wait for nature to occur then syringe up wee and put in plastic bottle.
Best to then store it in fridge - but don't mistake it for apple juice :-)

Good luck

Thanks alot. I'm sat here waiting at the moment. George doesn't seem to happy about being sat in this box though! :))

I've gotta get 2 samples off Pitch and Putt tonight when I get home.

The Pigs just stare at me with a 'Where the hell has my furniture gone' look on the face when I'm waiting for them to wee....
