Uther (Tango ;) ) moved in yesterday, and I managed to get him out of his house temporarily by bribing him with parsley.

And I got some piccies! :)

They have lots of nice things to hide and play in there. You have a lovely piggie set up.

Yes. Always in the house. I put food out and he comes and munches away happily, then goes back into the house. *sigh*

I suppose it will just take a bit of time for him to get used to all the new things..

I am glad though that he isnt shy at all - I reached in to stroke him, and he is eating out of my hand, and nibbling my finger :)
So I suppose its really just that everything is unfamiliar and he feels secure in the house. Ah well. I got time.

awwww they are lovely pictures and I LOVE that house! It looks top!!

He looks like he's settling in now. I'm still thinking about Thistle ::)

me too! he is gorgeous, his colour, his name, his SIZE, my I have never seen a piggy like that before, its the size of a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy!

But I am happy with Uther. Even though I think Mabel would prefer being with Thistle right now ;-)
Judging by the amount of spraying going on ;)

My poor little baby passed away today...

He had bladderstones, and one had gotten into his urethra :-( They put him under anaesthetic to try and shift them (catheter etc) but did not work. We gave him a few days respite and tried one more time, with a view of putting him to sleep if they were unsuccessful, because the stones were causing him considerable pain. Lo and behold, they managed to dislodge the stone so it fell into the bladder and then operated; he did come round after the OP but must have been so weak... he died an hour later.

I will miss my little man terribly, he has been with us for five years now and lived to the ripe age of 7. He was my tamest piggy, always licking my fingers and coming for a cuddle, and I just dont know how to cope - the cage seems so empty without him :(

dosnt look too pleased in picture number 1 Bless! X
