could be worth a try not sure where id get colic drops though ?/

hes been on probiotics for the past 6 weeks because of his meds and i dont think it really helped him that much he seems so much netter now he's off his meds and the probiotics? :{
 
I know they sell stuff for babies with colic or upset tummies in pharmacies.
 
i shall have to go in and ask :) I'm not gonna say its for a guinea pig though as they may not sell it to me! :)
 
well i actually told the pharmacy why i was buying it.......they were fascinated and said, well that's a first, and we should learn from it...........i'm trying to educate as many people as i can x

I wouldn't tell them it is for a piggie as technically it is illegal to medicate your piggie with human medication I think. Tell them it is for a child or maybe try a supermarket. They have things on shelves and when you take it to the check out they never say anything.

he seems so much better today :) he out on the grass with his brother at the moment and he is chasing him round the run :))
 
had the last of his results yesterday from his poo and they are all perfect :) my vet has just told me to keep him on the probiotic for a while, this will not harm him will it ?/

i was really considering having him put to sleep last week because he was just in so much pain but since hes stopped the meds hes been sooo much better he didnt squeak all of yesterday and he was pooing for england :))

i still have to keepa check on his bum as his poo still gets stuck sometimes :) I'm guessing this is impaction?

sorry for all the questions ive had guinea pigs pretty much all my life and this is the first time ive had any problems rolleyesrolleyes :)
 
Good to know his test results were all clear. Hopefully he'll be better soon xx
