Val and Rosie made a trip to Coseley Guinea Pig Rescue on Sunday and chose this handsome hunk as their husboar. The girls would like to introduce Pongo who is 2 years old and was very gentlemanly during bonding. They like his rumbling and bum wiggling but the food stealing and his unwillingness to share a fleecy bed not so much.

Pongo has settled in very quickly, he is very confident and it is like he has always lived here. Pongo popcorning is a site to behold, that's a whole lot of piggy to get off the ground.

So we discovered that Pongo is our chirper. He normally does this about 3am but just suddenly started chirping during floor time. Maybe he didn't like the Great British Bakeoff.

He has a very nice chirp. There was only a minor complaint from the Tribe for chirping out of context.

They just ignored him. I think that was his final attempt to impress them. Or maybe it was aimed at the young Lily in the adjoining run.
