how much fruit/veg do your piggies get?

Normally one huge pile between the five of them.......

I only really give fruit as a treat though :)
 
i only give fruit as a treat but they dont seem to like it anyway lol only melon and bananna :)

Mine get about 6 different ones a day, the same 6 twice :) they only like grapes and melon fruit wise and only get them once or twice a week x
 
I give them one overflowing bowlful per day at the moment.
Usually just some green veg, cucumber and a carrot.

But I make sure they have plenty of hay, pellets and water
 
Well i say huge, a typical portion is:

1 green pepper
3 inches of cucumber
1 head of broccoli (about the diameter of a toilet roll)
3 inches of carrott.......
 
I give mine a few carrots, a few broccolli, banana, apples chopped up, sometimes pear, kale, cucumber a few slices each, sometimes pepper too, long pea thingies too ;D 3 times a week as they get loads
 
Ours get a bowl of mixed veg in morning & at night, & also few little treats in between like a bit of parsley ect :)
 
everybodies so different ;D i assumed everybody fed twice a day i didnt realise how different we all feed them :P
 
I feed twice a day 5 veggies though, they were all getting porky espeically Fleur!

I give a green leaf veg, and 2 other veggies like an inch of carrot and herbs and then in the evening another green leaf veg along with green pepper for supper they have readi grass and I top up on everything else.

They are still piling on the weight but Fleur has evened out a little she was getting massive, lazy madam refuses to run around as much as Flora! :D
 
mine get veggies once a day, and normally have a cabbage leaf and tonight they had with it: Tomatoes, Melon, Cucumber, Brocolli, carrot, and red pepper :)
 
mine get veg at 10 in the morning and 10 at night :) 2 or 3 different veg each time O0 usually a big handful for bob and munchie each time, and about a quater of that for merlin, as he doesnt realy eat much yet and leaves a lot
 
Gerty gets a selection of veg today he had carrot, cucumber, broccoli, and cabbage. Then later he got a handful of grass bigger than him and he sat and munched the whole lot along with hay and his mix. I don't understand where he pus it all.
 
Mine have

Dark Spring greens, celery, carrot, brocolli, spinach leaves, cucumber - all chopped up twice a day.

In the evening I pop some grapes in and sometimes curly kale and cauliflower too.

They are all little greedy guts.............

Once a day here, they get veg and pellets at the same time usually :-\

Usually two or three different veg
 
mine get breakfast, lunch and dinner

usually about 4 or 5 different veg and as a treat two times a week apple, melon or banana
 
mine get a bowl of fruit and veg mixed everyday.
one bowl for two piggies and they dont leave till they have eaten it all, typical piggies.

Mine get veg once a day (at night) and I totally overfill the bowl for them. They occasionally get a bit of fruit but they're not too fussy for it. Occasionally they'll get some in the morning if I have left over prepared stuff left.
 
i feed ours twice a day, they get spinach or silverbeet, parsley, celery, brocoli, mint, dill, corriander,rocket,capsicum, sweetcorn, carrot, carrott tops,apple, water and rockmelon rind, grass, basil, trombone, peach, plum, apricot, pellets and hay. none will eat the apricot, peach and plum. zoe will eat all the others. jessie and faline will not eat mint, dill, basil, corriander, trombone,capsicium and jessie won't eat spinach or silverbeet.
so all in all zoe is easy to feed but jessie the GP and faline the bunny GRRRRRRRRRRRR :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: with the lack of rain and the drought fruit and veggies prices are outrageous here! :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
any suggestions on these 2 would be appreciated. glynis sent some oxbow pellets to try and zoe nibble faline wolfed them but jessie said you have got to be kiddding. GRRRR.

Mine get a big bowl between 2 morning and evening and a fresh herb treat in the afternoon O0
I noticed someone voted once a week-I hope that was a mistake :-\
