Hi Everyone

Our two cuddly girls fudge and truffle are starting to go off their spring greens and I'm really not sure what else to give them as an alternative. This is what their diet consist's of so far:

Romaine - Lettuce they love
Cucumber - they love but I know is mainly just water
Pepper - they love
Carrot - not so keen
Brocolli - will have nibble
Sweetcorn - not too keen but will eat it
Parsley - they love but I keep reading they shouldn't have too much
Kale - they love but same as above
Parsnip - not very keen

Basically what other greens can I feed them? Last night they did have parsely, cucumber and pepper and the plate was clean. Tonight was pepper, sweetcorn and spring greens and the spring greens have been left.

Some help would be great, could I feed them parsely and kale for a while until they go back to liking the greens again?

Thanks everyone xx

Have a look at the shopping list it's a sticky in food section, lists all the food's they are allowed, you will find it at the top of the food section, I can't post the link as I'm on my phone.

Kale and parsley are both high in Calcium and should be given once a week, saying that I have a bladder pig who has chronic bladder problems, he's not allowed any high calcium foods at present.

there is a useful thread here http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=42 that lists lots of ideas for veg n fruit

mine get alot of random stuff abit of spinach but not too much as can cus probs, coriandar
they dont like whole veg such as carrots and brocolli unless it has been chopped up for them!
they dont like pepper or apple at all!
just trial and error really

Mine like tomatos (cant be given too often because they can get mouth sores) celery, carrot tops (very high in vit C), cantalope melon and pear. And when the weather isnt too bad I go out and pick them grass and dandilions from the garden.

Thank you. I think I'm just a bit worried they aren't getting enough greens. They love little cherry toms but they only get these twice a week.
