when i make the piggies veggie veggie :))... i wash it all and then dry if off with kitchen roll and then leave it out for a bit so it isn't really cold... i have read some people leave it for half an hour, some an hour, but if it still feelsreally cold after an hour should you feed it anyway, or leave it longer? if left longer would it start to go off a bit... :{

When I do Dindy's in the morning before I go to work (and later in the evening), I take it from the fridge and put it in her bowl and she eats it when she's ready.

i'm sure i asked about this a while back and was told if fed straight from the fridge it could upset their tummies! so i stopped doing that! argh, too many different opinions! rolleyes:))

I asked about it when I joined as the guinea pig I had as a child got diarrhoea if we gave him cucumber straight from the fridge. I used to leave food out for a while but now give it straight from the fridge with no problems. :)

Yeah, you try telling a guinea pig that they have to wait for their veg:)) they wouldn't care if it had come from the Antarctic! Just like some kids love ice lollies, I guess some piggies are the same ;)

I never give mine (the other pig I had) straight from the fridge I would take out [*]just[/*] what i was going to give him and keep it fresh in a sealed box till I give him it. I didn't want to risk giving him stomach ache.
