Hi, I was wondering what are the best veggies to mix on a daily basis? I would like to have a bowl ready made up to give them a handful at food time but am not sure which to put together - if that makes sense.. They are now coming up for 9 weeks old and have tried peppers, cucumber, chicory, romaine lettuce, dandelions and kale.

Other things to try:-
Strawberries. Blueberries. Apple is good for digestion. Romaine lettuce. Baby corn.

Our girls love little gem lettuce too

gosh, i don't even know what half of the things on that list are lol ! Thank you... I kind of want to make them a lunch box up and just grab a handful at a time .. I hate wasting food but i am a fussy eater so need to start perusing the veg aisle !

I follow the advice of a very experienced guinea pig owner who recommends ...

A few slices of celery
1 dwarf bean
1 sprig coriander
1 slice cucumber
1 slice green pepper

Per guinea pig twice a day

These are the veg that are amongst the daily veg in the link I gave given you .

I do give other things as occasional treats - but the above list is the basis of my guinea pigs's diet.

Each day i feed my girls these veg twice a day

Slice of cucumber
Slice of celery
One fine green bean
One slice of any colour pepper
And then i add something different each time such as slice of spring greens, basil leaf, occasional parsley leaf, slice of carrot or parsnip. Sometimes half a grape or tomato each. Also they like pear and strawberry
Hope that gives u some idea.

Crikey... I better get shopping as I feel I've not been giving them enough veggies! Only give it once a day so far and it's not been loads, didn't want to upset their tummies so did it gradually...
