Veggie Budget.

hello I have 7 girls I was just wondering how much you all spend a week on piggies veggies & how many piggies you have got? I'm looking at going to she shops when they have the reduced items on sale when I have a car.

also how much a week would you say for veggies for 7 x

I'm trying to create a monthly bugget and save some money as well as building up a vet fund

My guinea pigs are spoilt rotten and I haven't a clue how much I spend on veggies.

It''s a good idea to try and get stuff that is still fresh but reduced in supermarkets .

My advice would be to stick to the daily veg listed in this thread ....

i only have 2 piggies but i spend
£4.50 a week on herbs ( they never last the week so buy twice a week )
one pack of peppers 80p - £1.00
Green beans one pack a week £1 or less,
Spring greens £0.80,
gem lettuce £0.70 - £1.00 ( usually 2 a week )
cucumber one a week usually costs no more than 60p

Hope that helps a little but.. Obviously it does depend where you shop x

thankyou love this site helps me so much! ive been giving my 7 piggies way to much no wonder there so fat ive been giving them 494g or just over everyday!
