I have two male piggies (Guinness 2yrs, and Rumplewicks 7mnths). Guinness is def the dominant piggy but I have two of everything (two hay racks, food bowls, huts, and water dishes) and I plan to leave it like that so it usually isn't a problem. But when I give them veggies I just toss them in the cage, I think they both get enough, but I was wondering what other people with two male guinea pigs do with their veggies to ensure they both get enough.

Thanks!

i also just put the veggies in the cage not in bowls and cut them up so that there are several pieces of each veg so that no one can carry off and keep anything all to himself.

i used to have a pig whose favourite thing was cucumber. along with their daily veg i would always put in 2 pieces of cucumber for him and his friend. he would always run up to the veg, snatch up one of the cucumber pieces, take it into his house, rush back out, snatch up the other piece, rush back into his house and then stay there and eat both pieces! clever piggy!

give them a bit first to cease the squeaking of course :-)...them spread veggies around the hutch, stops them from fighting and entertains them for a while :-)

I have 2 boys and actually I serve their vegies in 2 dishes, just like I do with their dry food. They eat side by side and if one finishes first he will pinch from the other boy's dish. I make sure the dishes are even enough so that all that means is one might get one more carrot baton then the other.

My boys will happily eat the veggies put in a pile for them both to eat but I do try to spread them around the cage to encourage foraging and fun. They will quite often snatch pieces of veggies out of each others mouths and run off in the opposite direction as fast as they can
