Hi

Oreo has quite a sensitive stomach and does seem to get minor bloat regularly. After doing a bit more research into his diet, some of the veg I've been giving him regularly cause bloat (mainly spinach because it's his favourite) and I've been wondering if there's a list or just some suggestions for vegetables or fruit he could try.

I want to try and cut out some of the things like broccoli and cabbage that cause bloat, until he's feeling a lot better.

Thanks

Also he is fed on a mixture of Burgess nuggets, so the blackcurrant and mint ones. If there's anything better he can have, I'll consider switching him over when he seems better.

Grain free pellets can help recurrent bloat issues.

Veg to avoid are broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Cavalo Nero, spring greens, cabbage of any form.. These can make pigs gassy:

The list isn't set in stone though as some pigs react to things others don't x

The best thing to do is try him with bits of food and see how he goes.

One of my previous boars got quite a serious bout of bloat from green pepper.

One of my current boars can't eat tomato or parsley as it messes up his digestive system.
