Can guinea pigs get fussy with the veggies?

When we first got them a week ago they were happy with some carrot, we then gave them some peppers (red) for a couple of days, since then we have tired parsley (they only seem to like the stalk) and carrott again, normally it would all be eaten up, but i came home from work this afternoon to find it hardly touched. As soon as i gave them pepper they ate it all up. Is this their way of sayin that they only like pepper? Also what other veg can i try them with as peppers are not exactly the most cheap veggie in the supermarket?

Any help would be appriciated.

my boys are fussy they love spring cabbage cucumber and salad leaves, theyll eat carrots some days but have been refusing the other fruit and veg ive been offering them.

Cucumber is always popular here too. Also Romaine Lettuce. Those are the two I'd try first with fussy piggies. Cucumber also has the benefit of being quite cheap!

My boys also like broccoli, sugar snap peas and celery, but they don't love them as much as the cucumber and lettuce.
