very confused about medicine vets given me

i'm actually unable to sleep as a result as it has been going over in my mind and it does not add up.

Vet said Tia has possible ring worm (i'm not sure of diagnosis but i'm not a vet so I wouldn't know) anyway i was prescribed "intrafungal" i was charged on the receipt for 52ml @ £19.94 but on the bottle it says 0.20 x intrafungal 52 mls which is 10.4 mls when multiplied which is more like what i was given as it was only a small amount, is this is right it should have cost me £3.98

anyway the money is not the main issue, bottle says to give 0.55mls once a day for 2 weeks (which insidentally works out at 7.7 mls a different number entirely) but she gave me a 1 ml syringe and pointed out the first graduation and said it was just after that (which I belive is 0.055 but i could be wrong again) which is what i gave Tia this evening, now i'm not sure if the bottle or what she said is right and they will be shut until tuesday arghhh! i don't no whether to stop the treatment or just carry on with the 0.055 i daren't do the 0.55 (which is just over half a syringe full if i'm right) incase bottle is wrong. it always happens to me that issues arrise on weekends / bank hols. 8...

i don't even know if the drugs name is intrafungal and can't find it on net to check arghhhh
 
been trawlling the internet but not found an answer but have found vets open tomorrow am so going to pop down and hopefully sort this out phewww ! will keep you all posted tomorrow (hoping they are not shut)
 
grr just realised what day it is. i meant they are open saturday. oopss need sleep, will have to go to bed for another try at sleeping
 
I would call the vet and confirm! It can be hard to straighten out dosages so much. I actually underdosed one of my piggies on antibiotics last summer... I thought it was once a day, turned out it was supposed to be twice but I heard the instructions wrong.
 
Itrafungol is a very good antifungal medication, a pricey one though.

Depending on the concentration of the suspension, the vet will have worked out the dose for the weight of your pig. It is wise to phone and double check the dosage if you are at all unsure.

Once you know do pop back and give the dose and the duration so that it can be noted.

ok so got confirmation it is 0.55mls once per day bottle is right and she mistakingly showed it me wrong on the syringe. it is for two weeks so need to start again from today as been massively under dosing her, good job they gave me extra, aparentely price was correct a very very expensive drug as 19.94 for 10.4 mls arghhhh
